Medicare Rebates

 

Medicare benefits can now be paid for up to 5 services per calendar year, provided by allied health professionals.

Eligibility

Anyone who has a long term medical condition that lasts Longer than 6 months and has a written a referral from their GP and for whom their doctor has a GP management plan and a Team Care Arrangement (TCA) in place.

METS programmes are specifically designed for those who seek support for Obesity and related co-morbidities including:

  • Obesity
  • Metabolic Syndrome,
  • Chronic Pain,
  • High Blood Pressure,
  • Pre-diabetes/Diabetes,
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Costs

METS services under the Medicare scheme are NOT free and require upfront payment. You will receive >40% of programme costs back with Medicare once all visits are complete, reciepts retained and rebates are applied.
